Jonathan Mulia (born July 8, 1986 in Jakarta, Indonesia) is an Indonesian actor. He began with the widely recognized role as young Soe Hok Gie in film Gie. He is the younger brother of Onky Alexander. Personal life Jonathan has also been rumored as being gay and had a relationship with singer Afgansyah Reza. Soe Hok Gie
Soe Hok Gie (17 December 1942 – 16 December 1969) was a Chinese Indonesian activist who opposed the successive dictatorships of Presidents Sukarno and Suharto. Overview Soe was an ethnic Chinese Roman Catholic, the fourth of five children in his family. His father Soe Lie Piet was a literary writer and magazine editor, and his elder brother Arief Budiman was a sociologist and lecturer at Satya Wacana Christian University and a vocal critical voice in Indonesian politics. After spending his final years of senior high school at Kanisius, Soe attended the University of Indonesia (UI) from 1962 until 1969; upon finishing university he became a lecturer at his alma mater until his death. Afgansyah Reza better known by his mononym Afgan (born 27 May 1989) is an Indonesian singer and actor of Minangkabau descent. Early life and career Afgansyah Reza was born on 27 May 1989 in Jakarta and into a Muslim musical family of Minangkabau origin, although he never had any vocal training. He is the second of four children from Loyd Yahya and Lola Purnama. His career began when he and a few friends decided to record a private album at Wanna B Instant Recording Studio. The producers at the studio offered him a contract when they heard him sing. His first album, '' Confession No.1'', was a mix of jazz, pop, and R&B influences and including tracks, such as "Terima Kasih Cinta", "Klise", "Sadis", and "Tanpa Batas Waktu".
