John J. Presley is a British musician from Walsall, England. History Having moved to London in 2013 Presley met Chris Denman of Radio X (formerly XFM) who recorded his debut single ''Left'' and the follow-up ''Honeybee'' released on Killing Moon Records. Support came from BBC Radio 1's Evening Show with Zane Lowe and from Phil Taggart, Alice Levine, John Kennedy, Radio X, Amazing Radio and Tom Robinson of BBC 6 Music leading Presley was invited to perform on the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading and Leeds Festival 2014 as well as Boardmasters, Live At Leeds, Truck, 2000 Trees and others that summer. Presley supported The Jim Jones Revue throughout Europe and the UK culminating in the final show at the O2 Forum Kentish Town. Walsall (, or ; locally ) is a market town and administrative centre in the West Midlands County, England. Historically part of Staffordshire, it is located north-west of Birmingham, east of Wolverhampton and from Lichfield. Reading And Leeds Festivals
The Reading and Leeds Festivals are a pair of annual music festivals that take place in Reading and Leeds in England. The events take place simultaneously on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend. The Reading Festival is held at Little John's Farm on Richfield Avenue in central Reading, near Caversham Bridge. The Leeds event is held in Bramham Park, near Wetherby, the grounds of a historic house. The O Forum Kentish Town is a concert venue in Kentish Town, London, England owned by MAMA & Company, and originally built in 1934. History The venue was built in 1934 and was originally used as an art deco cinema. After the cinema was closed, the venue re-opened as an Irish dance hall. In the 1980s, it changed directions from a bingo hall, to dance hall then to a live music venue under the name Town & Country Club. In 1993, Mean Fiddler purchased the venue and renamed it the London Forum. The final show at the T&C was Van Morrison on 21 March 1993. The Jim Jones Revue were an English band composed of Jim Jones, Rupert Orton,Nick Jones, Gavin Jay, Elliott Mortimer (later replaced by Henri Herbert) with garage and rock and roll influences. 2000trees festival is an independent music festival held from Wednesday to Sunday on the second week of July at Upcote Farm, Withington, near Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. It offers a diverse selection of more than 120 acts across five stages, plus comedy, a large selection of food traders, themed bars and a headphone disco on the two main stages every night of the festival.
