John Harryson
John Edvard Harryson (17 April 1926 – 28 November 2008) was a Swedish actor. He was the father of famous Swedish actor and television host Peter Harryson. Born in Katrineholm, Harrysson was a renowned actor in Sweden. For a younger generation John Harrysson was known as the Swedish voice of Scrooge McDuck, Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh, Doctor Snuggles, Bert in Svenska Sesam (The second Swedish version of Sesame Street), and the Sheriff of Nottingham in ''Robin Hood'' (1973). Katrineholm
Katrineholm (pronunciation: or ) is a locality and the seat of Katrineholm Municipality, Södermanland County, Sweden with 24,271 inhabitants in 2018. It is located in the inland of Södermanland and is the third largest urban area in the county after Eskilstuna and county seat Nyköping. History Early history The name Katrineholm comes from a ducal residence with this name, after Catherina Gyllenhorn who lived there. Sheriff Of Nottingham
The Sheriff of Nottingham is the main antagonist in the legend of Robin Hood. He is generally depicted as an unjust tyrant who mistreats the local people of Nottinghamshire, subjecting them to unaffordable taxes. Robin Hood fights against him, stealing from the rich, and the Sheriff, in order to give to the poor; it is this characteristic for which Robin Hood is best known. The Sheriff is considered the archenemy of Robin Hood, as he is the most recurring enemy of the well-known outlaw. It is not known whom this character is based on. The legend of Robin Hood (which is at least as old as the 14th century), traditionally referred to the Sheriff of Nottingham only by his title. It is based on Per Anders Fogelström's 1951 novel of the same title. It was controversial abroad at the time of its first release for its frank depiction of nudity and, along with the film ''One Summer of Happiness'' from the year before, directed by Arne Mattsson, it helped to create the reputation of Sweden as a sexually liberated country.
