''Darling of Mine'' (Swedish: ''Älskling på vågen'') is a 1955 Swedish comedy film directed by Schamyl Bauman and starring Sickan Carlsson, Karl-Arne Holmsten and Erik Berglund.Qvist & Von Bagh p.44 It was shot at the Centrumateljéerna Studios in Stockholm. The film's sets were designed by the art director Arthur Spjuth. Synopsis Swedish American Hollywood film star Jack Harris arrives in his Swedish homeland for the first time for a visit. Journalist Ingrid Billberg is determined to find out information from him. Schamyl Bauman
Magnus Schamyl Bauman (4 December 1893 – 28 February 1966) was a Swedish film director (in 1931-57). Born in Vimmerby, Småland. First studied law and modern languages at Uppsala University. In 1917 he began to work with translating text lines for international silent films (to Swedish), which he did successful throughout the 1920s. In this way he watched many different films by some of the best silent film directors in the world which started an interest in filmmaking and in the arts of film. In 1929-30 he started the film company Europafilm with Gustaf Scheutz where he made some of his early films as a director. Per-Axel Daniel Rank Arosenius (7 November 1920 – 21 March 1981) was a Swedish film and television actor, primarily known for his supporting roles. His most prominent film role was that of Soviet defector Boris Kusenov in the thriller film ''Topaz'' (1969), directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Death After a dispute with the Swedish taxation authorities, Arosenius protested by setting himself on fire outside their office in Nacka. He died at the age of 60 in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. The STEN (or Sten gun) is a British submachine gun chambered in 9×19mm which was used extensively by British and Commonwealth forces throughout World War II and during the Korean War. The Sten paired a simple design with a low production cost, facilitating mass production to meet the demand for submachine guns. As well as equipping regular units, the Sten was distributed to resistance groups within occupied Europe. Its simple design made it an effective insurgency weapon for resistance groups. The Sten is a select fire, blowback-operated weapon with a side-mounted magazine. Sten is an acronym, derived from the names of the weapon's chief designers: Major Reginald V. Shepherd and Harold J. Turpin, and "En" for the Enfield factory. Gustav Edvin Adolphson (25 February 1893 – 31 October 1979) was a Sweden, Swedish film actor and director who appeared in over 500 roles. He made his debut in 1912. He appeared with Ingrid Bergman in ''Only One Night (1939 film), Only One Night'' (1939), and is noted for his roles in the film ''Änglar, finns dom?'' (1961), the television version of August Strindberg's ''Hemsöborna'' (1966), and as Markurell in ''Markurells i Wadköping'' (1968).
