Joetex Asamoah Frimpong
Kwabena Joseph "Joetex" Asamoah Frimpong (born 17 April 1982) is a Ghanaian former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Striker (association football), striker. Club career Frimpong was born in Mampong. He began his career in Nigeria with Gabros of Nnewi and El-Kanemi Warriors F.C., El-Kanemi, where he became top scorer and earned a move to Enyimba F.C. He won the CAF Champions League, CAF African Champions League with Enyimba in 2003 and 2004, scoring a total of 14 goals, but he missed the 2005 competition through injury. He signed on loan for Saudi Arabian side Al-Nasr on 3 February 2006, with an option to make the deal permanent. The 2006 Africa Cup of Nations was the 25th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, the association football championship of Africa. It was hosted by Egypt, from 20 January to 10 February.
