Jo Loves
Jo Loves is a British niche perfume brand founded by perfumer Jo Malone in 2011, following her 2006 departure from Jo Malone London. She had founded that brand in 1994, and subsequently sold it to Estée Lauder Companies in 1999. Background Based in London, England, Jo Loves sells fragrances, scented candles, and bath and body products. The name Jo Loves refers to the memories and experiences which inspired Malone to create each fragrance. When the brand launched in 2011, Malone said, "This new brand is about memories – it's where I am and the person I am now". The CEO is Gary Willcox, Malone's husband. Niche Perfume
Niche perfume is an alternative to mass perfume production. Niche is limited by the clientele and therefore with a limited sale range, thus the goal of niche houses is not to sell as much as possible. These companies are generally smaller than the major fragrance firms like Coty Inc., Puig (company), Puig, and Firmenich, but bigger than "indie perfume" lines that are generally owned and operated by the perfumer themselves. Joanne Lesley Malone CBE (born 5 November 1963) is a British perfumer and founder of the companies Jo Malone London and Jo Loves. Malone founded Jo Malone London in 1990 and later sold the company in 1999 to its current parent company Estee Lauder Companies. In 2011, Malone founded Jo Loves. Biography Malone was born on 5 November 1963, and grew up in a council house in Bexleyheath, South East London. She had severe dyslexia, and left school aged 13 to care for her mother, who had a stroke. In 1999, Malone sold Jo Malone London to Estée Lauder Companies for "undisclosed millions". Mayfair is an area of Westminster, London, England, in the City of Westminster. It is in Central London and part of the West End.
