Jiri Koski
Jiri Koski (born 20 May 1995) is a Finnish professional football player who plays as a goalkeeper for Veikkausliiga side KTP. Club career Koski debuted in Veikkausliiga with HJK Helsinki on 17 October 2016, in a 3–1 win against Ilves. Since 2021, Koski has played for IF Gnistan in second-tier Ykkönen, and was the team captain in the 2023 season. On 19 May 2024, he made his first Gnistan appearance in the highest level, and only his second-ever appearance in Veikkausliiga, keeping a clean sheet in a 0–0 draw against Kuopion Palloseura (KuPS). Koski returned to KTP for the 2025 Veikkausliiga season. 2012 Kakkonen
The 2012 Kakkonen season began on 18 April and ended on 6 October 2012. Teams A total of 40 teams contested the league divided into four groups, Eteläinen (Southern), Pohjoinen (Northern), Läntinen (Western) and Itäinen (Eastern). 30 returned from the 2011 season, three relegated from Ykkönen and seven promoted from Kolmonen. The champion of each group qualified to promotion matches to decide which two teams get promoted to the Ykkönen. The bottom two teams in each group and the worst eight-placed qualified directly for relegation to Kolmonen. The 2025 Veikkausliiga is the 95th season of top-tier football in Finland, which takes place from April to November. Veikkaus is the league's sponsor. 2023 Ykkönen
The 2023 Ykkönen was the 52nd season of Ykkönen, the second highest football league in Finland. The season began on 14 April 2023 and ended on 7 October 2023. It was the final season of the Ykkönen serving as the second-tier football league in Finland, following its demotion to third-tier. Twelve teams contested the league. The champions ( EIF) and runners-up ( Gnistan) were promoted to the 2024 Veikkausliiga. The second, third, and fourth-placed teams (Gnistan, MP, and SJK Akatemia) qualified for the Veikkausliiga play-off. The bottom two teams ( JJK and KPV) were relegated to the 2024 Ykkönen. The sixth-placed team (HIFK) dissolved after the season finished due to bankruptcy, giving the tenth-placed team ( KäPa) a reprieve from relegation.
