Jiang Xindi
Jiang Xindi, nicknamed "Cindy" (; born January 26, 1997 in Harbin, China) is a Chinese female curler. She was part of the Chinese women's curling team on 2018 Winter Olympics. Career Jiang competed at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, where the Chinese team participated in the women's curling tournament. She competed at the 2018 World Women's Curling Championship where her team placed seventh. Jiang also won the bronze medal at the 2017 and 2018 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships and the silver medal at the 2013 and 2015 Pacific-Asia Junior Curling Championships. To start the 2019–20 season, Jiang and her team won the World Curling Tour event, the 2019 Hokkaido Bank Curling Classic. She represented China at the 2019 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships as second for Han Yu. 2021 World Women's Curling Championship
The 2021 World Women's Curling Championship (branded as 2021 LGT World Women's Curling Championship for sponsorship reasons) was held 30 April to 9 May at the Markin MacPhail Centre at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Alberta. The event was originally awarded to Schaffhausen, Switzerland. In February 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, local authorities withdrew permission to host the event. On 5 March 2021, the championship was moved to Calgary. The event was held in a centralized "bubble" at Canada Olympic Park, which also hosted the men's world championship, as well as all major Curling Canada championships leading up to the Worlds. The 2020 World Women's Curling Championship (branded as the 2020 World Women's Curling Championship presented by Nature's Bounty for sponsorship reasons) was scheduled to be held from March 14 to 22 at the CN Centre in Prince George, Canada. The 2019 Hokkaido Bank Curling Classic was held August 1–4, 2019 in Sapporo, Japan. It was the second event of the 2019–20 curling season. The total purse for the event was ¥ 1,700,000. In the Men's event, Yuta Matsumura defeated Scott McDonald 7–2 in the final and Kirk Muyres beat Kim Soo-hyuk 7–3 in the Bronze Medal Game. The World Curling Tour (WCT) is a group of curling bonspiels featuring the best male, female, and mixed doubles curlers in the world. History The World Curling Tour was founded by former World Champion Ed Lukowich, with later assistance from John Kawaja. The World Curling Tour commenced in 1992, with men's events only at first. It replaced the "Canadian Curling Tour" held the previous season. The first season consisted of 48 events (with only one outside Canada), and was sponsored by Seagram's distillery. Teams earned points in every event with the top 30 qualifying for the season ending " V.O. Cup", today known as the Players' Championship. Its first president and CEO was Lukowich. Pacific-Asia Curling Championships
The Pacific-Asia Curling Championships (formerly the Pacific Curling Championships) are an annual curling tournament, held every year in November or December. The top team receives a berth to the World Curling Championships, while the second-placed team also receives a berth if the championships are held in the Americas or in Europe. The Pacific-Asia Curling Championships currently consist of teams from Australia, China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Qatar and South Korea. In 2018 WCF Congress, Nigeria is announced as the first African country accepted as member and will compete in the PAC zone beginning in 2019.
