Jesko
Jesko or Jesco is a male given name, which is used among Slavs and in Germany. It is a short form of Jaromir or Jaroslaw and may mean "the peaceful one", "the brave one", "the proud one" or "the soldierly one". There may be a link with the name of Polish ruler Mieszko I. Like many traditional names ending with -ko such as Aiko, the name Jesko is somewhat associated with the gentry in Germany, but also used by other families. The Koenigsegg Jesko is a limited production mid-engine sports car produced by the Swedish automobile manufacturer Koenigsegg. The car was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show#2019, 2019 Geneva Motor Show and was completely sold out before the show ended. Succeeding the Koenigsegg Agera, Agera, the Jesko is named as a tribute to the company founder's father, Jesko von Koenigsegg. There are two variations of the car, the "Absolut" and the "Attack". Jesko Friedrich (born 2 April 1974 in Gießen) is a German comedy television actor and writer. Early life and career Friedrich grew up in Lübeck and has a doctorate in German studies at the Georg-August-Universität in Göttingen. Friedrich started writing jokes for the show '' Freitag Nacht News'' ("Friday Night News"). Jesko Albert Eugen von Puttkamer (2 July 1855 – 23 January 1917) was a German diplomat, colonial administrator, and military officer who served as colonial governor of German Kamerun from 1895 to 1907. Early life and career Jesko von Puttkamer was born to an aristocratic family. His father, Robert von Puttkamer, served as Interior Minister of Prussia, while his aunt, Johanna von Puttkamer, was the wife of Otto von Bismarck. Puttkamer studied law at various schools throughout Germany, and as a young man became notorious for engaging in gambling and prostitution. Karl-Jesko Otto Robert von Puttkamer (24 March 1900 – 4 March 1981) was a German admiral who was naval adjutant to Adolf Hitler during World War II. Military service Puttkamer was born in Frankfurt (Oder) and was a member of the Puttkamer family, related to Otto von Bismarck's wife. Jesco Hans Heinrich Max Freiherr von Puttkamer () was a German-American aerospace engineer, senior manager at NASA, and a pulp science fiction writer. He was an advocate of human space exploration, and the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI). While at NASA, he served as the program manager in charge of long-range planning of deep space crewed activities (flights beyond Earth orbit).
