Jeshani Naran
Jeshani Mansukh Naran (born 20 June 1988) is an Indian-born Kenyan former cricketer. Varsani was born at Bhuj in the Indian state of Gujarat in June 1988. He emigrated to Kenya and later made a single appearance in first-class cricket for Kenya against the United Arab Emirates in the 2011–2013 ICC Intercontinental Cup at Nairobi in July 2011. Batting twice in the match, he was dismissed for 7 runs in the Kenyan first innings by Mohammad Tauqir, while in their second innings he was dismissed without scoring by Shoaib Sarwar. Three days prior to this match, he made what would be his only appearance in List A cricket against the same opposition, keeping wicket he scored 10 runs before being dismissed by Arshad Ali. In the second match of the one-day series he was replaced as wicket-keeper by Rajesh Varsani. Bhuj
Bhuj () is a Municipality and District Headquarters of Kutch District in the state of Gujarat, India. Etymology According to legend, Kutch was ruled by the Nāga chieftains in the past. Mohammad Tauqir ( ar, توقير محمد; born 14 January 1972) is an Emirati cricketer. He is a UAE national. He is a lower order batsman and off-spin bowler, he played his first game for UAE in the final of 1996 ACC Trophy (batting at 11 and not bowling). He has been part of the UAE team in the last three ICC Trophys and last six ACC Trophys. His best bowling performance came against Japan with 6–10 off 10 overs in the 2000 ACC Trophy. Sahara Elite League
The Sahara Elite League (also known as Zonal League) was a four team cricket competition created by Cricket Kenya featuring a Twenty20 tournament, a one day cricket tournament and finally a three-day cricket tournament. For the inaugural league four teams will be competing consisting of the 60 best players according to Cricket Kenya from Kenya. Tournament history The first, and what was to be the only, edition of the competition involved four franchises, the Northern Nomads, the Eastern Aces, the Southern Stars, and the Western Chiefs. The teams were captained by National team players, Steve Tikolo, Thomas Odoyo, Kennedy Obuya, and Peter Ongondo 2008. Rajesh Premji Varsani (born 29 July 1982) is an Indian-born Kenyan former cricketer. Varsani was born at Bhuj in the Indian state of Gujarat in July 1982. He emigrated to Kenya and later made two appearances in List A cricket for the Kenya national cricket team against the United Arab Emirates at Nairobi in the 2011–2013 ICC World Cricket League Championship. He scored 57 runs in the first match, helping Kenya to a 66 runs victory. Gymkhana Club Ground
Nairobi Gymkhana Club is a cricket ground and team in Nairobi, Kenya. It hosted two matches during the 2003 Cricket World Cup. The ground has a capacity of 7,000 people. It is located north of the central business district, but not far from it. The ground is the main cricket venue in the country and the only one which could in any way be described as a major ground.
