Jennifer Gardiner
Jennifer Gardiner (born September 18, 2001) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward for PWHL Vancouver of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She previously played for the Montreal Victoire of the PWHL. She played college ice hockey at Ohio State. Early life Gardiner was born to Tom and Diane Gardiner, and has a brother, Brad. She attended Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary School and played three seasons for the Greater Vancouver Comets of the BC Elite Hockey League, where she recorded 90 goals and 91 assists in 92 games. She led the league in scoring all three years, and was named a three-time FMAAA all-star team honoree and three-time Provincial Champion. Yale Bulldogs Women's Ice Hockey
Yale University women's ice hockey (YWIH) is an NCAA Division I varsity ice hockey program at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. One of the oldest varsity women's ice hockey programs in the country, Yale women's ice hockey dates back to 1975. Beginning as a club sport, the program gained varsity team status in 1977–78. Yale competes in the ECAC Hockey League (ECACHL), along with Ivy League foes Harvard, Princeton, Cornell, Dartmouth and Brown. 2025–26 PWHL Season
The 2025–26 PWHL season is the upcoming third season of operation of the Professional Women's Hockey League. Eight teams will compete during the season. The inaugural six teams are located in Boston, Minnesota, Montreal, New York, Ottawa, and Toronto. They will be joined this season by expansion teams in Seattle and Vancouver. 2025 PWHL Playoffs
The 2025 PWHL playoffs was the playoff tournament of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) for the 2024–25 season. The playoffs began on May 7, 2025, and concluded with the PWHL Finals on May 26, 2025, with the Minnesota Frost winning their second consecutive Walter Cup. The Montreal Victoire were the first team to make the playoffs, when they defeated the Minnesota Frost 4–1 on March 26. The Toronto Sceptres were the second team to qualify when the New York Sirens defeated the Frost on April 27. It was the first time the Ottawa Charge made the playoffs. As a result, the City of Ottawa renamed a section of Bank Street "Charge Avenue" in honour of the team. The team qualified for the playoffs in their last game of the season, when Kateřina Mrázová scored in overtime for the Charge, who beat the Toronto Sceptres 2–1. The 2024–25 PWHL season was the second season of operation of the Professional Women's Hockey League. Six teams competed during the season, located in Lowell, Saint Paul, Laval, Newark, Ottawa, and Toronto. The Montreal Victoire () are a professional ice hockey team based in the Greater Montreal area that competes in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). They are one of the six charter franchises of the league. The team plays its home games at Place Bell in Laval, Quebec. The 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season began in September 2023 and ended with the 2024 NCAA National Collegiate women's ice hockey tournament's championship game at Whittemore Center in Durham, New Hampshire on March 24, 2024.
