Jean-Pierre Ploué
Jean-Pierre Ploué is a French car designer, known for his work for Renault, Volkswagen, Ford Motor Company, Ford and notably Citroën, where he is attributed with reinvigorating the brand's reputation for innovative styling. He is currently Chief Designer with Stellantis — which includes the Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Citroen, DS, Fiat Europe, Lancia, Opel, Peugeot, and Vauxhall brands. During his tenure with Renault, one of Ploué's initial sketches was chosen for development by Patrick le Quément as the 1994 Renault Argos. The concept was noticed by Freeman Thomas at the 1994 Geneva Motor Show, and Thomas later cited the Argos as the inspiration for his initial Audi TT sketches. Gilles Vidal (born ca. 1972) is a French car designer, appointed Director of Style by Peugeot in early-2010. He was responsible for the design direction of the 2010s decade at Peugeot. He is currently the design director at Renault, having joined the company in 2020. Biographical note Vidal received his diploma from the Art Center College of Design in Vevey, Switzerland and joined Citroën in 1996. The GT by Citroën (sometimes spelled GTbyCitroën) is a sports car that debuted as a concept car on October 2 at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The car is a collaboration between the French automaker Citroën and the Japanese racing simulation developer Polyphony Digital. Six cars were expected to be built, with an expected MSRP of $2,100,000; however, the production run was allegedly cancelled in 2010 due to high costs. Citroën C-Métisse
The Citroën C-Métisse is a concept car which was produced by the car manufacturer Citroën in collaboration with coachbuilder Stola. It was first introduced in the autumn of 2006 at the Paris Motor Show. It has been stated that the reason for creating such a car was to show that any hybrid car can have the same performance as any petrol or diesel-powered car. The car is designed as a five-door 2+2 shooting brake. The first official pictures were revealed in September 2006. The Citroën C6 is an executive car ( E) produced by the French car maker Citroën from 2005 to 2012. Production started up again in China in 2016, before ending in 2023.
