Jason Fareti Lemalie Tomane (born 4 March 1995) is an Australian-born Romanian rugby union player who plays at CSM Știința Baia Mare in the Liga Națională de Rugby and for the Romanian Wolves in the Rugby Europe Super Cup. Club career Sunnybank Rugby Tomane began playing rugby at Sunnybank Rugby. While there he was selected for the National Gold Squad XV and the ACT Brumbies. After 5 years at Sunnybank Rugby he moved to Hong Kong to play for Gai Wu RFC. Gai Wu RFC He spent a year in Hong Kong playing for Gai Wu RFC. CSM București In 2017 he joined Romanian Liga Națională de Rugby side CSM București. Going on to win the Cupa României twice in 2017 and 2018 as well as the Cupa Regelui in 2017. The Cupa României is a rugby union cup competition for Romanian teams which has been held annually since 1914 except for a couple of years where the cup was not held either because of World War II or other unknown reasons. 2019–20 SuperLiga Season
The 2019–20 SuperLiga (also known as the CEC Bank SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) is the 106th season of premier club rugby in Romania. Starting with this edition, the number of participating teams has decreased from eight teams to seven, due to CSM București dissolving before the start of the new season. At the end of April, Gloria Buzău announced that their senior team have dissolved due to financial issues concerning the COVID-19 pandemic leaving only 6 teams remaining in the SuperLiga for the remainder of the season. 2023 Rugby World Cup
The 2023 Rugby World Cup () was the tenth men's Rugby World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for national rugby union teams. It took place in France from 8 September to 28 October 2023 in nine venues across the country. The opening game and 2023 Rugby World Cup final, final took place at the Stade de France, north of Paris.
