The Odia (), formerly spelled Oriya, is an Indo-Aryan ethnic group native to the Indian state of Odisha who speak Odia language. They constitute a majority in the eastern coastal state, with significant minority populations in neighboring Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and West Bengal. National Highway 55 (Previously NH42) is a National Highway in India connecting Sambalpur and Cuttack in Indian state of Odisha. Starting from NH 53 in Sambalpur, it terminates at Naugaon, in Jagatsinghpur District. it is also known as Cuttack - Sambalpur Highway.
