Jandira is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo. The population is 126,356 (2020 est.) in an area of 17.45 km2. The suburban city is served by the ViaMobilidade with line 8. Media In telecommunications, the city was served by Companhia Telefônica Brasileira until 1973, when it began to be served by Telecomunicações de São Paulo. In July 1998, this company was acquired by Telefónica, which adopted the Vivo brand in 2012. The company is currently an operator of cell phones, fixed lines, internet (fiber optics/4G) and television (satellite and cable). Cotia
Cotia is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo. The population is 274.413 (2022 est.) in an area of 323.99 km2. The city is at an elevation of 853 m. Cotia is linked with the Rodovia Raposo Tavares highway. The municipality is made up of the headquarters and the district of Caucaia do Alto, with its former districts of Jandira, Itapevi and Vargem Grande Paulista (originally called Raposo Tavares) having been split off to form new municipalities. Line 8 (CPTM)
Line 8 (Diamond) (), formerly Line B (Gray), is one of the thirteen lines that make up the Transport in São Paulo#Rail transport, São Paulo Metro Rail Transport Network in Brazil and one of the three lines operated by ViaMobilidade. The line was previously operated by Ferrovia Paulista S.A., Fepasa, and subsequently by CPTM.
