''Jamz'' (stylized as ''JAMZ'') is the seventh studio album by Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie, released on 11 November 2022 through Sarkcess Music and Ziiki Media. The album featured guest appearances from Black Sherif, Cina Soul, Oxlade, Lojay, Joeboy, Bnxn, Kranium, and King Promise. The lead single of the album is "Labadi", released on 23 September 2022. Background Sarkodie did not planned on recording this album, as he was recording songs unrelated to the album. As he was recording the songs, he was inspired to make something that was a "fun" listening experience. This resulted in the recording of ''Jamz''. Marketing The "Jamz World Tour" was a worldwide tour that ran from 15 July 2023 to September 3 revolving around his album, ''Jamz''. It spanned 11 cities across North America. Sarkodie (rapper)
Michael Owusu Addo (born 10 July 1985), known professionally as Sarkodie (), is a Ghanaian rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur from Tema. He started rapping at a young age and has since become a household name in the Ghanaian and Global music industry. His contributions to the Ghanaian music industry have earned him numerous accolades, including TGMA then Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA) for "Artiste of the Decade". He was announced the first winner of BET's Best International Flow Artist at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards. He is also considered one of the major proponents of the Azonto genre and dance and as the most successful African rapper of all time. Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman (born 22 April 1997), known professionally as Oxlade, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter signed to Troniq Music, Epic Records in France, and Columbia Records in the UK. Tidal (stylized TIDAL) is a Norwegian-American music streaming service, launched in 2014 by the Norwegian-Swedish public company Aspiro. Kemar Donaldson (born 12 August 1993), known professionally as Kranium, is a Jamaican dancehall singer known for his 2013 hit single "Nobody Has to Know" which gave him international recognition and led him to the Atlantic Records record label. Daniel Etiese Benson (born 14 May 1997), known professionally as Bnxn (pronounced as Benson) and formerly known as Buju, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer. Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa-Donus (born 21 May 1997), known professionally as Joeboy, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter, he is signed to Warner Music Africa in partnership with his record label Young Legend.
