Jamie Rickers
Jamie Rickers (born 21 May 1974) is an English former television presenter, best known as the co-presenter of children's programmes ''Prove It!'', ''Toonattik'' and '' Up On The Roof'' on CITV. Career Rickers career began in 1997 as a researcher/co-ordinator for several LWT productions between November 1997 and February 1999. It wasn't until 1999 that Rickers began TV presenting beginning with the short-lived series ''Find a Fortune'', by the Summer of 1999, Rickers began presenting links for the digital children's channel Carlton Kids then joined GMTV as a continuity announcer for their children's programming. Rickers presented '' Up On The Roof'' between 2001 and 2005. ''Toonattik'' was the flagship children's strand of the British breakfast television station, GMTV (known on-air as CITV at weekends), which ran from 5 February 2005 to 26 December 2010. CITV is a British children's morning programming block on ITV2 and formerly a free-to-air channel owned by ITV plc. CITV, then Children's ITV, launched on 3 January 1983 as a late afternoon programming block on the ITV network for children aged 6–12.At this point, there was only one "ITV" channel in any given area - transmitter overlap and split weekday/weekend franchises aside - and "ITV" was solely a generic/collective name for the various regional commercial television stations. Carlton Kids
Carlton Kids was a British digital terrestrial pay television kids channel, provided by Carlton Television, which started broadcasting on 15th November 1998 and closed on 31st January 2000. Its sister channels were Carlton Food Network, Carlton World, Carlton Cinema and Carlton Select. It broadcast exclusively on ONdigital, the digital terrestrial pay-TV platform backed by Carlton and Granada, where it timeshared on channel 34 with Carlton World. The channel had limited coverage, reaching only 69% of the population via the lowest-powered terrestrial multiplex D, and newspapers and listings magazines were slow to feature the channel's programming. The British version of '' Camp Orange'' is a children's reality television show broadcast on Nickelodeon. The first season premiered on 22 July 2011. The series was hosted by Anna Williamson, Jamie Rickers and Denise Lewis. This was the international version of '' Camp Orange'', which is originally from Australia. Overview The show stars four teams of best friends, selected from thousands of video audition entries that kids send in from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, vying for the outdoor adventure of a lifetime.
