''Dueling Analogs'' (a pun on the Dual Analog Controller) is a webcomic by Steve Napierski (also the creator o''The Outer Circle''. The website was launched on November 17, 2005, and new comics were posted every Monday and Thursday. ''Dueling Analogs'' is a gaming comic and as such most of the comics take place in the universe of the games discussed. There are few ongoing stories or plotlines as all of the comics are self-encapsulated (one exception is the trial of King Bowser); however, there are repeated themes such as 'Rejected Mega Man Villains', 'Games that I am glad were never made' and 'What if...?'. ''Erfworld'' was a story-driven fantasy/comedy webcomic and independently published graphic novel about a master strategy gamer summoned into and stuck inside a wargaming, wargame running from December 2006 to its abrupt cancellation in October 2019. It featured contemporary memes and pop culture references. ''Erfworld'' followed a graphic novel format, with a new page added with each update. The webcomic's distinctive visual style countered the theme of unending violence with an artistic sensibility (described by the creators as "cute") in which characters are drawn to look like dolls, or anime characters, or toys. Injuries draw no blood in Erfworld, and damage is cured overnight. Also, characters are unable to use profanity, and feel pain when hearing the word "die". Super Art Fight
Super Art Fight is a live improvised art competition based in the Washington, D.C.-Baltimore area where artists compete for audience approval by sketching random topics on a mural-sized canvas. The event was birthed at Katsucon in 2008 and has grown to include a rotating roster of artists, a podcast, and online competitions. The main Super Art Fight style involves individual artists (or pairs) facing off in front of a live audience. Topics change throughout the match and the winner is determined by Clap-o-meter/Sound level meter.
