Erfworld
''Erfworld'' is a story-driven fantasy/comedy webcomic and independently published graphic novel. The series follows Parson, a master strategy gamer summoned into a wargame by a desperate faction desiring a warlord- leaving him trapped in the game. It was written by Rob Balder, who worked with many illustrators over its run. ''Erfworld'' began publication in December 2006 on the website Giant in the Playground, better known for hosting ''The Order of the Stick''. It moved to its own website with the completion of Book 1, as had originally been intended, and was highly popular in the early 2010s. It continued until its abrupt cancellation part way through Book 5 in October 2019. The comic heavily features contemporary memes, pop culture references, and mechanical references to war games. Rob Balder
Robert T. Balder is a professional cartoonist and singer-songwriter. He graduated from Roanoke College with a major in English in 1993 and, after a variety of jobs, entered a seven-year career in IT, starting as a manager of database development, which he left for his current career. Comics As a comic author, he was first published in ''Scene'' magazine in 1998. Page 93 and on. In 2001, he started ''PartiallyClips'', a social commentary clip art webcomic also featured in the '' Anchorage Press'', '' Cleveland Free Times'', ''Concord Mirror'', ''East Bay Express'', ''Houston Press'', ''Manchester Mirror'', '' Metroland'', ''Nth Degree'', '' Salem Observer'' and the '' Other Paper''. David Hahn (cartoonist)
David Hahn is a western Montana-based comic book artist born in 1967. He is best known for his work illustrating the comic book mini-series ''Bite Club (comics), Bite Club'' and its sequel ''Bite Club: Vampire Crime Unit'' for DC Comics, where he also illustrated stories for ''Robin (comics), Robin'', ''Fables (comic), Fables'', ''Batman: The Ultimate Training Guide'', and ''Lucifer (DC Comics), Lucifer''. Arthur Chu (born January 30, 1984) is an American columnist and former contestant on ''Jeopardy!'', a syndicated U.S. game show. Chu first became known for the unusual style of play he adopted during his eleven-game winning streak on ''Jeopardy!''. When the shows aired, Chu attracted criticism from many for jumping from category to category rather than selecting clues in sequential order, a strategy known as the "Forrest Bounce", named for former champion Chuck Forrest.
