James Saunders (boxer)
James Saunders (4 January 1932 – 28 May 1987) was a Canadian boxing, boxer. He competed in the Boxing at the 1952 Summer Olympics – Heavyweight, men's heavyweight event at the 1952 Summer Olympics. At the 1952 Summer Olympics, he lost to Giacomo Di Segni of Italy. Nicknamed, "Babyface," Saunders compiled an outstanding amateur career, winning 109 of 115 total bouts. He represented Canada at both the 1952 Olympics and the 1954 British Empire Games. He was inducted into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame in 2019. References External links

James Saunders (composer)
James Saunders (born 1972) is a British composer and performer of experimental music. He is Professor of Music and Head of the Centre for Musical Research at Bath Spa University. Early life Born in Kingston upon Thames, England, Saunders studied at the University of Huddersfield (1991–94) and then with Anthony Gilbert at the Royal Northern College of Music (1994–96). In 1998, he was a participant at the Darmstädter Ferienkurse where he was awarded a scholarship prize. He participated again in 2000 and 2002. Career In 2001, he was a selected composer at the Ostrava New Music Days. He held composition residencies at the Experimental Studio fur Akustische Künst in Freiburg in 2003 and 2007. James Saunders (27 May 1802 – 27 March 1832) was an English cricketer in the 1820s. He was a left-handed batsman and an occasional wicket-keeper who represented many different teams from 1822 to 1831. In county cricket, he played for Sussex (1823–1825), Kent (1827) and Surrey (1828–1830). James Saunders (14 July 1946 in Wilmington, Delaware – 24 August 1996 in Cologne, Germany) was an American dancer, choreographer and movement teacher. Personal life Born and raised as the son of Mary Lee and Major Saunders in Wilmington, Delaware, Saunders studied painting and sculpture at the Philadelphia College of Art (bachelor's degree). In 1968, at the age of 22, Saunders took his first dance class. and studied thereafter ballet with the Pennsylvania Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet Company under the teachers Benjamin Harkavy, :de:Edward Caton, Edward Caton and :de:Héctor Zaraspe, Manuel Héctor Zaraspe. He was later a student of Irene Bartos, Rosella Hightower and Anna Price. In 1973 Saunders left the United States and settled in Europe. James Ebenezer Saunders FRIBA (1829/30 – 24 November 1909) was a British architect and Liberal politician. Early life Career Allinson states that Robert Worley, of the architectural practice Worley & Saunders, was "involved in all kinds of speculative developments". Robert Worley and James Ebenezer Saunders formed the architectural practice Worley & Saunders. Worley and Saunders designed the London Pavilion (now part of the Trocadero Centre), Piccadilly Circus.
