Jakub Jáně
Jakub Jáně (born 13 September 1990) is a Czech Canoe slalom, slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2006. He won three medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with two golds (Mixed C2: 2019 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships, 2019, C2 team: 2013 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships, 2013) and a bronze (C2 team: 2014 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships, 2014). He also won three silver and four bronze medals at the European Canoe Slalom Championships. His partner in the men's C2 was Ondřej Karlovský. Jáně won the overall Canoe Slalom World Cup, World Cup title in mixed C2 in 2018 Canoe Slalom World Cup, 2018 together with Tereza Fišerová. European Junior And U23 Canoe Slalom Championships
The European Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom Championships is an annual international canoeing and kayaking event organized by the European Canoe Association (ECA). The Junior Championships were first held in 1995 and then every two years until 2003. The Under-23 Championships were first held in 2002 as part of the senior championships that year. Since 2004 the junior and U23 age categories are held annually together as part of the same event. Athletes under the age of 18 are eligible for the junior category. 2015 Canoe Slalom World Cup
The 2015 Canoe Slalom World Cup was a series of five races in 5 canoeing and kayaking categories organized by the International Canoe Federation (ICF). It was the 28th edition. Calendar The series opened with World Cup Race 1 in Prague, Czech Republic (June 19–21) and closed with the World Cup Final in Pau, France (August 14–16). Final standings The winner of each race was awarded 60 points (double points were awarded for the World Cup Final for all the competitors who reached at least the semifinal stage). Points for lower places differed from one category to another. Every participant was guaranteed at least 2 points for participation and 5 points for qualifying for the semifinal run (10 points in the World Cup Final). If two or more athletes or boats were equal on points, the ranking was determined by their positions in the World Cup Final. Michal Jáně (; born 8 July 1986) is a Czech Canoe slalom, slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2002. He won two medals in the C1 team event at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a silver in 2014 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships, 2014 and a bronze in 2010 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships, 2010. He also won two silver medals in the same event at the European Canoe Slalom Championships, European Championships. His younger brother Jakub Jáně, Jakub is also a slalom canoeist.
