Jacob Albrechtsen
Jacob Albrechtsen (born 10 March 1990) is a retired Denmark, Danish Football (soccer), football Defender (association football), centre back. He is the younger brother of Martin Albrechtsen. Career He was promoted to the first team at training start in the summer 2008, together with Danni Jensen. Although, both of them joined the first team at a training camp at La Manga Club in January 2008. Albrechtsen's first team debut came on 31 July 2008 in a UEFA Cup 2008-09, UEFA Cup qualifier against Cliftonville F.C., Cliftonville from Northern Ireland. He played the last 19 minutes in the defense after having substituted Oscar Wendt. Oscar Wendt
Oscar Joakim Wendt (born 24 October 1985) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a left back for Allsvenskan club IFK Göteborg. A product of the IFK Skövde youth academy, Wendt started off his professional career with IFK Göteborg in 2003 before signing with FC Copenhagen in 2006. In 2011, he joined Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach on a free transfer. After ten seasons in Germany, Wendt returned to IFK Göteborg in 2021. The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official " knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The Danish Superliga ( da, Superligaen, ) is the current Danish football championship tournament, and administered by the Danish Football Association. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated. History Founded in 1991, the Danish Superliga replaced the Danish 1st Division as the highest league of football in Denmark. From the start in 1991, 10 teams were participating. The opening Superliga season was played during the spring of 1991, with the ten teams playing each other twice for the championship title. From the summer of 1991, the tournament structure would stretch over two calendar years. The 10 teams would play each other twice in the first half of the tournament.
