JML Direct TV
JML Direct TV was a television shopping channel owned by John Mills Limited, JML Direct Limited that mainly broadcasts infomercials featuring various products from the company. The channel was broadcast on Sky UK, Sky and Freesat. JML Direct TV originally launched on Sky UK, Sky channel 664, on 1 October 2002 as JML Direct. Due to various Sky Electronic program guide, EPG reshuffles, this original channel is located on channel 661 . It is on Sky in the UK, but not in Ireland since the summer of 2020. The channel closed on 28 March 2024. Channels JML owned and ran a TV channel on Sky 661 and Freesat 806. EeZee Tv
eeZee tv was a live British shopping channel broadcasting on Sky Digital (UK & Ireland), Sky Digital. The channel launched on 1 March 2005. History In September 2004, it was first announced that JML and Kleeneze were going to team up and launch a new channel, under the name of eeZee tv, which was going to replace JML's own channel. At 10:00 on 1 March 2005, eeZee tv officially launched, showing a mix of JML and Kleeneze products ranging from Homewares to Beauty, for 16 hours a day. During the remaining hours it was off air, it showed pre-recorded material. The channel used a fixed price format, which was similar to other UK shopping channels, such as QVC (UK), QVC and Ideal World. Juwelo UK
Juwelo UK (formerly Rocks & Co) was a falling-price auction-style home shopping channel specialising in jewellery, the primary competitors to other shopping channels. The channel broadcast live from 08:00 to 23:00 daily on Sky channel 681, Freesat channel 814, Freeview channel 92 (02:00–05:00) and Freeview channel 271. The channel was renamed to Juwelo UK on 15 May 2018. It was closed on 13 March 2019. History Rocks & Co launched on 8 September 2008 and shared some of its resources with JML Direct TV, which included one of its EPG slots to the company. Channel M was a regional television station in England which broadcast to the Greater Manchester area between 2000 and 2012. The station, originally Manchester Student Television, was owned and operated by the GMG Regional Media division of Guardian Media Group. Pitch TV
Pitch TV was a home shopping television channel broadcast in the United Kingdom on the Freesat and Sky platforms. Viewers could order products by phone and online. The channel operated as a traditional shopping channel in that the items were sold at a fixed price and not auctioned or reduced. In August 2009, Pitch TV temporarily ceased broadcasting after parent company Pitchwell Group went into liquidation. The sales orderline of the channel ceased on 10 August, with a statement posted on channel's website confirming that the company had gone bust on 24 August. In the statement, the firm claimed that the situation was due to "unreasonable steps taken from Lloyds bank which ultimately brought the business to a standstill".
