Soshanguve Giant Stadium, commonly referred to as Giant, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Soshanguve, a township of Pretoria, South Africa. It was utilized as a training field for teams participating in the 2010 FIFA World Cup after being rebuilt in 2009. The National First Division (NFD), officially known as the Motsepe Foundation Championship for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest league of South African club football after the South African Premier Division. Both the NFD and South African Premier Division are organised by the Premier Soccer League. Structure and rules Seasons 2007–2011 The restructured NFD was divided into two streams, one inland and another coastal – each of which consisted of 8 teams. The winners of the two streams played against each other in a 'final' at the end of the season – the winner of which was promoted to the PSL. Tshepang Moremi (born 2 October 2000) is a South African soccer player who plays as a winger for AmaZulu in the Premier Soccer League. Moremi was an academy player at Sharpeville Benfica. He joined AmaZulu after playing for the Bizana Pondo Chiefs. He made his debut in the 2021-22 South African Premier Division in August against Mamelodi Sundowns, and scored his first goal in December against Kaizer Chiefs. The 2015–16 SAFA Second Division (known as the ABC Motsepe League for sponsorship reasons) was the 18th season of the SAFA Second Division, the third tier league for South African association football clubs, since its establishment in 1998. Due to the size of South Africa, the competition was split into nine divisions, one for each region. After the league stage of the regional competition was completed, the nine teams were placed into two 'streams', sometimes referred to as the Inland and Coastal streams. The teams that finish in first place of the stream stage were promoted to the National First Division. They then competed for an overall title with a substantial prize fund. The 2018–19 SAFA Second Division (known as the ABC Motsepe League for sponsorship reasons) was the 21st season of the SAFA Second Division, the third tier for South African association football clubs, since its establishment in 1998. Due to the size of South Africa, the competition was split into nine divisions, one for each region. After the league stage of the regional competition was completed, the nine winning teams of each regional division entered the playoffs.
