J.J. Sedelmaier
J. J. Sedelmaier (born March 12, 1956) is an American animator, illustrator, designer, author and film director/producer, known for co-creating (with Robert Smigel) the " Saturday TV Funhouse" segment—including '' The Ambiguously Gay Duo'' and '' The X-Presidents''—on the TV series ''Saturday Night Live''; as well as the ''Tek Jansen'' series on ''The Colbert Report'', the interstitial cartoons seen in the USA TV series ''Psych'', and over 500 other TV and advertising projects. Early life J. J. Sedelmaier's father is Joe Sedelmaier, a retired director and producer of TV commercials. His mother was artist/designer Maria Svolos (1937–2014). Tom Sito
Tom Sito (born May 19, 1956) is an American animator, animation historian and teacher. He is currently a professor at USC's School of Cinematic Arts in the Animation Division. In 1998, Sito was included by ''Animation Magazine'' in their list of the One Hundred Most Important People in Animation.''Animation Magazine'', November 1998. Early life Tom Sito was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, the son of a fireman. Sito first began studying animation while attending cartooning classes at the High School of Art and Design. He continued his animation studies at The School of Visual Arts (SVA) with Howard Beckerman, cartooning under Harvey Kurtzman, Gil Miret, Howard Beckerman and Robert Beverly Hale. Sito graduated from SVA in 1977 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Arts. He met his wife, Pat, at SVA and the two were married on January 4, 1980. Parody
A parody is a creative work designed to imitate, comment on, and/or mock its subject by means of satire, satirical or irony, ironic imitation. Fan Expo Chicago (formerly Wizard World Chicago Comic Con, and commonly known as the Chicago Comicon), is a comic book convention held during the summer in Rosemont, Illinois, United States, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. It was traditionally a three-day event (Friday through Sunday), but in 2006, it expanded to four days (Thursday through Sunday). It was founded in 1972 as Nostalgia '72, Chicago Comic Con and later as the Chicago Comic and Nostalgia Convention by a local dealer (and school teacher) named Nancy Warner.
