Izzi People
Izzi is a North Eastern Igbo people, Igbo sub-group, in Igboland, South Eastern, Nigeria. It is also the name of the territory in which they live - Izzi (Ebonyi), Izzi Local Government Area. They speak the Izi language, Izzi dialect. Izzi is spoken majorly in Ebonyi State and some parts of Benue State. Some notable persons from Izzi include the current Governor, Francis Nwifuru, Rt. Hon. Demographics Speakers of the Izi language are spread over a large area. Belonging to a larger group of people called the Igbo, the Izi distinguish themselves from their neighbors and have divided themselves into many clans. Izi speakers are found east of Abakaliki, the capital of the Ebonyi State and extend as far as the Anambra and Imo State boundaries. Izi (Ancient Egyptian Official)
Izi was an important ancient Egyptian official of the Fourth Dynasty. His most important title was ''overseer of the treasury''. Other important titles he hold are ''scribe of the king's document'', ''overseer of the great house'' and ''overseer of the king's ornament''. Izi is mainly known from different relief decorated blocks of his mastaba. These blocks are now in the Egyptian Museum (Cairo), in the Pushkin Museum and in the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. On the latter blocks he bears different titles making it possible that they belong to a different person with the name Izi. His mastaba was discovered around 1890 at Saqqara. Iziane "Izi" Castro Marques (born March 13, 1982) is a retired Brazilian professional basketball player. Castro Marques played for the Brazil women's national basketball team and played for the Miami Sol, Phoenix Mercury, Seattle Storm, Atlanta Dream, Washington Mystics and the Connecticut Sun of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Izi Dorot
Izi Dorot (; 1916–1980), born Isidor Roth, was an Israeli military official, and director of the Shabak between 1952 and 1953 and a Deputy Director of the Mossad between 1953 and 1963. Born in Poland in 1916, Dorot immigrated to the British Mandate of Palestine in 1936, and served in the Jewish Settlement Police. In World War II he volunteered and served in the British Army. Igor "Izi" Ivanov (; born 3 April 1973) is a Macedonian film director and writer. He studied philosophy and began his film career in 1993, when he started directing series of films for television. Between 1995 and 2004 he made several documentaries and short films; one of them, the 15-minute-long Bugs (Bubački, 2004), competed at the 54th Berlinale and won Golden Leopard at the Locarno festival. The title Upside Down, an adaptation of the novel Navel of the World by the contemporary Macedonian writer Venko Andonovski, is his feature film debut.
