Ivan Nebesnyy
Ivan Nebesnyy (born July 15, 1971) is a Ukrainian composer and music producer. Graduated from Lviv Conservatory in 1995 (composer class under Myroslav Skoryk). In 1996 Ivan Nebesnyy founded an ensemble "Cluster" which performed music by modern composers from Ukraine and abroad. In 2006 – 2011 Ivan Nebesnyy was a music director of the “Kyiv Music Fest”. Selected works Works by Ivan Nebesny are considered as postmodern. History The LNMA '' Mykola Lysenko'' traces its origins to earlier music institutions in Lviv, going back to the 19th century, when Franz Xaver Mozart created the Saint Cecilia Society. Myroslav Mykhailovych Skoryk ( uk, Мирослав Михайлович Скорик; 13 July 1938 – 1 June 2020) was a Ukrainian composer and teacher. His music is contemporary in style and contains idioms from diverse sources including German, Welsh, English, and Eastern European artistic traditions. Skoryk was awarded the titles People's Artist of Ukraine and Hero of Ukraine. Early life Myroslav Skoryk was born in Lviv, Ukraine, then a part of Poland on 13 July 1938. His parents were both educated in Austria at the University of Vienna and subsequently became educators. His father was a historian and an ethnographer, while his mother was a chemist. Kyiv Music Fest ( uk, Київ Музик Фест), is an annual international music festival in Kyiv, Ukraine that profiles modern Ukrainian classical music aiming to promote Ukrainian musicians in the context of world art. Mykhailo Verykivsky ( 14 June 1962) was a Ukrainian composer, conductor and teacher. He was an Honored Artist of Ukraine in 1944. Biography In early years Mykhailo Verykivsky grows in an atmosphere of love and respect for Ukrainian native folk songs, which influenced his musical work. After graduating from elementary school, Verykivsky entered the city school and was admitted to the bishop's choir. Borys Mykolayovych Lyatoshynsky ( uk, Бори́с Миколáйович Лятоши́нський ()), also known as Boris Nikolayevich Lyatoshinsky (russian: Бори́с Николаевич Лятоши́нский), (3 January 189515 April 1968) was a Ukrainian composer, conductor, and teacher.
