Ismail Rasheed
Ismail Rasheed (born 20 April 1976) is a Maldivian film actor and director. He has established a career in Maldivian films and is the recipient of several awards, including a Gaumee Film Award. Biography Ismail Rasheed is a son of Maldivian poet, writer and the founder of the K.M.R. Production, Mohamed Rasheed. Ismail Rasheed worked at the Maldives Airports Company Ltd, but he left his job to give more time for his Acting career. He began his career in 1996 with a comedic role from Maldives Airport Authority's Tele Drama ''Zimmaa''. He received the Best Comedian Award form the Tele Drama Awards for his role in ''Zimmaa''. ''Feehaali'' is a 2021 Maldivian crime thriller short film written and directed by Moomin Fuad. Produced by Mohamed Zuhuree under Final Chapter Studio, the film stars Mohamed Zuhuree, Washiya Mohamed and Anoof Ali Musthafa in pivotal roles. The film was digitally released on 1 January 2021. ''Kan'du Ibilees'' is a 2018 Maldivian children's film directed by Ismail Rasheed. Produced by Rasheed, Ahmed Ziya and Mohamed Riffath under Independent Zone, the film stars Ismail Rasheed and Ahmed Ziya in pivotal roles. Filming commenced on 30 January 2018 at HDh. Ahmed Nimal is a Maldivian actor, director, editor, writer and producer. Early life Prior to acting in films, Nimal worked at Maldives Meteorological Service office. His interest in films and acting grew due to the influence of his colleagues including Easa Shareef and other friends who actively take part in theatre plays. Career Nimal made his career debut with ''Nufoozu'' (1984), an initiation by Shareef and his colleagues. ''Badi Edhuru'' is a 2007 Maldivian suspense thriller short film directed by Ali Shifau.
