The Islam Democrats (ID) () is an Islam and democracy, Islamic democratic political party in the Netherlands which currently has no seats in the Hague council as of 2022 Dutch municipal elections. History Origin After obtaining the council seat in The Hague, the ID participated in the 2006 Dutch general election, parliamentary elections of 2006 in the List 21 in the electorals of The Hague, Leiden, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Arnhem, Tilburg and Dordrecht. ID then got 4,339 votes, with no representation in parliament. In November 2006, the Islam Democrats filed a complaint against the One NL, after party leader Marco Pastors had compared the Islamization of the Netherlands with the rise of the Nazism, Nazis in the 1930s in a radio commercial just before the elections to the House of Representatives. Marco Pastors
Marcus Gerhardus Theodorus (Marco) Pastors (born 10 September 1965) is a Dutch civil servant and former politician. Since 1 February 2012 he has been director of the Nationaal Programma Kwaliteitssprong Zuid, a project of the city of Rotterdam to improve living conditions in the south of Rotterdam. Pastors was political leader of the local party Livable Rotterdam (Leefbaar Rotterdam), a member of the city council and also an alderman of the municipality of Rotterdam. NIDA (political Party)
NIDA () is a political movement in the Netherlands, describing itself as "being inspired by Islam". It was founded in 2013 by Nourdin El Ouali, a former municipal councillor in Rotterdam for GroenLinks. The party is currently only represented at the municipal level, with two seats in Rotterdam and one seat in The Hague. Arnoud van Doorn (born 18 March 1966, in The Hague) is a Dutch politician. He was a member of the Dutch political party, Dutch Freedom Party (PVV), before converting to Islam. Political career Arnoud van Doorn used to be part of the PVV. In December 2011, the party broke with Van Doorn. The Party for Freedom ( , PVV) is a right-wing populist, far-right political party in the Netherlands. Geert Wilders is the founder, party leader, and sole registered member of the party.
