Irma Christenson
Irma Christenson (14 January 1915 – 21 February 1993) was a Swedish actress notable for her many roles in the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm, and in many films. Christenson was born in the small village of Hunnebostrand. She studied at the Royal Dramatic Theatre from 1933 to 1936. She married the writer Per-Erik Rundquist and with him had a son, Mikael Rundquist, also an actor. ''Sunday's Children'' () is a 1992 Swedish drama film directed by Daniel Bergman and written by Ingmar Bergman. At the 28th Guldbagge Awards the film won the award for Best Cinematography ( Tony Forsberg) and Thommy Berggren was nominated for Best Actor. Ingmar based his screenplay for ''Sunday's Children'' on the life of his father, Church of Sweden minister Erik Bergman. ''The Best Intentions'' () is a 1991 Swedish Television film, television drama film directed by Bille August and written by Ingmar Bergman. It is semi-autobiographical, telling the story of the complex relationship between Bergman's parents, Erik Bergman (Lutheran minister), Erik Bergman and Karin Åkerblom, who are renamed Henrik and Anna in the film but retain their true surnames. The film documents the courtship and the difficult early years of their marriage, until the point when Anna becomes pregnant with their second son, who corresponds to Ingmar himself. Samuel Fröler and Pernilla August played Henrik and Anna, respectively. Ingmar Bergman wrote the screenplay based on scattered notes and conversations with his parents in their later years.
