Iori Yagami
is a character from SNK's ''The King of Fighters'' video game series. The character first appeared in ''The King of Fighters '95'' as the leader of the Rivals Team, as the initial enemy and later rival of Kyo Kusanagi. Iori is the heir of the Yagami clan, who use pyrokinesis, pyrokinetic powers and sealed the Orochi (King of Fighters), Orochi devil along with the Kusanagi and Yata clans. Iori suffers from a curse –  – under which he becomes faster, stronger and wilder, exhibiting a deadly tendency to indiscriminately attack everyone in close proximity. In this state, Iori is commonly called "Wild Iori" or . Aside from the main series, Iori appears in several other media series, including Spin-off (media), spin-offs, crossover video games and comic adaptations of the series. Eisuke Ogura
is a game designer working for SNK. Originally an artist for pixel animations and illustrations, Ogura became the creative director of the fighting game ''The King of Fighters XV''. Career Eisuke Ogura joined SNK in 1996 and worked for the ''Fatal Fury'' series. His first title was ''Real Bout Special'' where he met his senior Yasuyuki Oda. He did pixel art starting from the port ''Dominated Mind'', helped on others titles from the series. Ogura was famous for working in the game ''Garou: Mark of the Wolves''. Ogura tried to take advantage of Neo Geo's console limitations in order to create appealing 2D animations. Ogura also served as character designer for ''Ogre Battle Gaiden: Prince of Zenobia''. However, by that time SNK fell into bankruptcy which depressed Ogura as most of his partners moved to other companies. Last Blade
''The Last Blade'' is a fighting game developed and released by SNK for the Neo Geo system in 1997. It was also ported to several home systems. A sequel, ''The Last Blade 2'', was released in 1998. A second sequel, '' The Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny'', was released in 2000. The game takes place during the Bakumatsu era in Japan, and incorporates various elements of Japanese mythology (with a heavy emphasis on the symbology of the Four Symbols). As such, the background music generally incorporates synthesized instruments simulating a sound appropriate to the 19th century setting, in a Western classical, pseudo- Romantic style (unusual for a fighting game).
