Internationaux Du Doubs – Open De Franche-Comté
The Internationaux du Doubs – Open de Franche-Comté was a professional tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was part of the ATP Challenger Series (renamed the ATP Challenger Tour in 2009). It was held annually in Thise near Besançon, France, as a Satellite from 1996 to 1998 and as a Challenger from 1999 until 2009. In 2010 was cancelled due to budget reasons. There are three title holders, each with two doubles titles, Lionel Barthez, Christopher Kas and Philipp Petzschner. Only one player, Julien Boutter Julien Boutter (; born 5 April 1974) is a former professional male tennis player from France. Marc Gicquel
Marc Gicquel (; born 30 March 1977) is a former professional male tennis player from France. Tennis career Gicquel turned pro in 1999. He made his ATP Tour singles debut at the 2002 Open 13 tournament on hard courts in Marseilles, France. He was granted direct entry into the qualifying draw, which saw him defeat Johan Rousseaux ''6–4, 6–4'' and Cristiano Caratti ''6–2, 7–6(10–8)'' in the first two rounds prior to being defeated in the third and final round by Renzo Furlan ''3–6, 3–6''. Ivan Ljubičić
Ivan Ljubičić (; born 19 March 1979) is a Croatian former professional tennis player, coach and Tennis TV commentator. He reached a career-high Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) world No. 3 singles ranking on 1 May 2006. His career highlights include reaching a major semifinal at the 2006 French Open, and a Masters title at the Indian Wells Masters in 2010. He also contested three other Masters finals, two in 2005 at Madrid and Paris, and the other at the 2006 Miami Open. Since retiring, Ljubičić has coached ATP top-3-ranked players Milos Raonic and Roger Federer. Julian Knowle
Julian Knowle (born 29 April 1974) is an Austrian former professional tennis player. Being a born left-hander, Knowle was one of the few on the ATP Tour who played his forehand, backhand, and even volleys double-handed. He was Austria's most successful doubles player in history by reaching world No. 6 in the ATP doubles rankings in January 2008, before being matched by Jürgen Melzer, who reached No. 6 in September 2010, and overtaken only by Alexander Peya, who reached No. 3 in August 2013. Eric Taino (born March 18, 1975) is a retired ATP Tour American tennis player, who later represented the Philippines in international competition. Before turning pro, he was the #1 player and captain of the then #2 nationally ranked UCLA tennis team and achieved All-American honors. His teammates included fellow pros Justin Gimelstob and Kevin Kim. Cyril Saulnier (; born 16 August 1975) is a retired French tennis player. In 2005, he started giving tennis lessons in places such as Heliopolis Sporting Club (Egypt). Julien Benneteau
Julien Henry Guy Benneteau-Desgrois (; born 20 December 1981) is a French retired professional tennis player. He achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 25 and doubles ranking of No. 5 in November 2014. Benneteau did not win a singles title, although he finished as runner-up in a record 10 ATP tournaments, including holding a match point in the 2013 Kuala Lumpur final. Tomáš Berdych (; born 17 September 1985) is a Czech former professional tennis player.
