The International Series is a series of men's professional golf tournaments played internationally, as part of the Asian Tour. History The series was unveiled in February 2022. It was confirmed that 10 events will be added alongside the Asian Tour schedule for the next 10 years, with each event featuring prize funds between and . The investment was backed by LIV Golf. The first event was played in March 2022 with the International Series Thailand. American Sihwan Kim won his first Asian Tour event shooting 26-under-par, beating Phachara Khongwatmai by two shots. The next event was played at Slaley Hall in Northumberland, England. This was the first Asian Tour event to be staged in the United Kingdom. Asian Tour
The Asian Tour is the principal men's professional golf professional golf tours, tour in Asia except for Japan (which has its own Japan Golf Tour). It is also a full member of the International Federation of PGA Tours. Official money events on the tour count for Official World Golf Ranking points. The Asian Tour is administered from Singapore. 2024 Asian Tour
The 2024 Asian Tour was the 29th season of the modern Asian Tour (formerly the Asian PGA Tour), the main professional golf tour in Asia (outside of Japan) since it was established in 1995. Changes for 2024 New tournaments for the 2024 season included the International Series Macau and the Black Mountain Championship. Additionally, in February 2024, it was confirmed that a new tournament in a new continent to the Asian Tour, would be added to the schedule; the Karen Classic to be played in August at Karen Country Club in Kenya. However, the tournament was later removed from the schedule and did not take place. The DGC Open and the World City Championship from the 2023 schedule were dropped for the 2024 season. Anirban Lahiri (; born 29 June 1987) is an Indian professional golfer. He has played on the Asian Tour, European Tour, PGA Tour and LIV Golf. He was awarded the 2014 Arjuna Award and was also the recipient of the "Sera Bangali" award in 2015, given by the ''Anandabazar Patrika''. Early life Lahiri hails from a Bengali family. Bernd Klaus Wiesberger (; born 8 October 1985) is an Austrian professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and formerly on the LIV Golf League. He finished the 2019 European Tour season in third place on the Race to Dubai standings, his best finish to date.
