The Indian subcontinent is a physiographic region of Asia below the Himalayas which projects into the Indian Ocean between the Bay of Bengal to the east and the Arabian Sea to the west. It is now divided between Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan. Indonesian Airlines
Indonesian Airlines (PT Indonesian Airlines Aviapatria) was an airline based in Jakarta, Indonesia. It operated domestic services. The Transportation Ministry in February 2007 delayed license revocation of 11 idle airlines, including Indonesian Airlines, to give restructuring opportunities to the operators. History The airline was established in 1999 and started operations in March 2001. In September 1999 it had won a government licence to provide scheduled services on 46 routes. It is owned by private investors (75%) and Rudy Setyopurnomo (25%), President Director of the airline. The Indo people (, ) or Indos are Eurasian people living in or connected with Indonesia. In its narrowest sense, the term refers to people in the former Dutch East Indies who held European legal status but were of mixed Dutch and Native Indonesians, indigenous Ethnic groups in Indonesia, Indonesian descent as well as their descendants today. In the broadest sense, an Indo is anyone of mixed European and Indonesian descent. INDO stands for Intermediate Neglect of Differential Overlap. It is a semi-empirical quantum chemistry method that is a development of the complete neglect of differential overlap (CNDO/2) method introduced by John Pople. Like CNDO/2 it uses zero-differential overlap for the two-electron integrals but not for integrals that are over orbitals centered on the same atom.
