Brigid Inder
Brigid Anne Inder is a New Zealand gender justice advocate and mediator. In 2014, Inder was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire for services to women’s rights and international justice, and was awarded the inaugural Bertha von Suttner Peace Prize. Early life and education Inder lived in Queenstown and moved to Dunedin when she was six years old. She was educated at Moreau College (now Trinity Catholic College), where she was head girl in 1983. Inder completed a Bachelor of Physical Education at the University of Otago in 1987, and then worked for the YWCA as a youth worker. Career In 2004 Inder co-founded the Women's Initiatives for Gender Justice (WIGJ), an international women's rights organisation that supports legal actions against gender violence through the International Criminal Court (ICC) and peace processes. Inder (Industria Electromecánica de Recreativos S.A, Madrid) was a Spanish manufacturer of pinball machines which was in business between 1970 and 1993. Francisco Maestre was the director of Inder for many years. Inder experimented with the use of CRT monitors in their pinball machine's backboxes. The result was a hybrid game called ''Flip VI'' which came out in 1990. In 2010 the Spanish company Marsaplay produced 25 prototypes of New Canasta, which is a remake of Inder's original ''Canasta'' pinball machine. Inder () is a rural locality (''village'') in Dovolensky District, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia . It is the administrative center of the Indersky Village Council. Inder () is a lake in Dovolensky District, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russian Federation.Google Earth The lake lies in the southern sector of the Oblast. Inder village is located a little north of the northern shore and Dovolnoye town, the district capital, to the west of the western shore. Geography Inder lies in the Baraba Steppe, part of the West Siberian Plain. The Bagan river flows through the lake entering it from the northeast and flowing out of it from the western end. The western half of the lake is shallow and swampy, encumbered by aquatic vegetation. There are also a few large islands.
