Inder () is a rural locality (''village'') in Dovolensky District, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia . It is the administrative center of the Indersky Village Council. Between 1925 and 1930 Inder was the administrative center of the Indersky District, present-day Dovolensky District. Inder () is a lake in Dovolensky District, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russian Federation.Google Earth The lake lies in the southern sector of the Oblast. Inder village is located a little north of the northern shore and Dovolnoye town, the district capital, to the west of the western shore. Geography Inder lies in the Baraba Steppe, part of the West Siberian Plain. The Bagan river flows through the lake entering it from the northeast and flowing out of it from the western end. The western half of the lake is shallow and swampy, encumbered by aquatic vegetation. There are also a few large islands. Baraba Plain
The Baraba steppe or Baraba Lowland (), is a plain in western Siberia. It is named after Baraba Tatars, its indigenous inhabitants. The Baraba Lowland is an important Russian agricultural region. Geography It stretches for across the Omsk and Novosibirsk oblasts between the Irtysh and the Ob Rivers.
