Ihor Shvaika
Ihor Oleksandrovych Shvaika (born 25 February 1976) is a right-wing Ukrainian politician and a former Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. Shvaika was elected to the 7th Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada during the 2012 parliamentary election as a member of the All-Ukrainian Union "Freedom" party. Biography Shaivka was born into an ethnic Ukrainian family in the Russian Republic of Kalmykia. In 1978, the family returned to their native town of Lutuhyne, Luhansk Oblast. He graduated from school with honors and entered the National University “Yaroslav the Wise Law Academy of Ukraine” in Kharkiv to study law. During this time he already worked as a legal adviser to a number of private companies. He graduated with a law degree in 1998, and then joined a private law firm called "Terra" as "Deputy Director of Legal Affairs". Kharkiv Oblast (, ), also referred to as Kharkivshchyna (), is an oblast (province) in eastern Ukraine. 2019 Ukrainian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Ukraine on 21 July 2019. Originally scheduled to be held at the end of October, the elections were brought forward after newly inaugurated President of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dissolved parliament on 21 May 2019, during his inauguration. The elections resulted in an outright majority, a novelty in Ukraine, for Zelenskyy's Servant of the People party, which won 254 seats. About 80 percent of the elected candidates were new to parliament, while 83 deputies were re-elected from 8th Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada, the previous parliament and 13 deputies from earlier convocations. Hand Grenade
A grenade is a small explosive weapon typically thrown by hand (also called hand grenade), but can also refer to a Shell (projectile), shell (explosive projectile) shot from the muzzle of a rifle (as a rifle grenade) or a grenade launcher. Fragmentation (weaponry)
Fragmentation is the process by which the casing, shot, or other components of an anti-personnel weapon, bomb, barrel bomb, land mine, IED, artillery, mortar, tank gun, autocannon shell, rocket, missile, grenade, etc. are dispersed and/or shattered by the detonation of the explosive filler. The correct term for those pieces is "fragments” (nicknamed “splinters” or “shards”). Preformed fragments can be of various shapes (spheres, cubes, rods, etc.) and sizes and are normally held rigidly within some form of matrix or body until the high explosive (HE) filling is detonated. The resulting high-velocity fragments produced by either method are the main lethal mechanisms of these weapons, rather than the heat or overpressure caused by detonation, although offensive grenades are often constructed without a frag matrix. National Guard Of Ukraine
The National Guard of Ukraine (NGU; , ; /NHU ) is the Ukrainian national gendarmerie and internal military force. It is part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, responsible for public security. In law, a person is acting in a position if they are not serving in the position on a permanent basis. This may be the case if the position has not yet been formally created, the person is only occupying the position on an interim basis, the person does not have a mandate, or if the person meant to execute the role is incompetent or incapacitated.
