Igor Sypniewski
Igor Sypniewski (10 November 1974 – 4 November 2022) was a Polish professional footballer who played as a forward. Born in the ghetto of Łódź, Poland he was believed to be one of the greatest prospects of European football, however his struggle with alcohol, gambling and mental health problems prevented him from realizing his full potential and he is considered to this day one of the biggest unfulfilled talents. An ŁKS Łódź legend, regarded as a phenomenal player in both Greece and Sweden aside from his native country, his career highlight is considered to be the 2000–01 and 2001–2002 seasons with Greek club Panathinaikos for whom he scored important Champions League goals in Europe. Opoczno
Opoczno () is a town in south-central Poland, seat of Opoczno County in the Łódź Voivodeship. It has a long and rich history, and in the past it used to be one of the most important urban centers of northwestern Lesser Poland.
