Ibrahim Alkali
Air Commodore Ibrahim Alkali (born 15 June 1940) was a Military Governor of Kwara State from October 1987 to December 1989 during the military regime of Major General Ibrahim Babangida. He attended Barewa College, Zaria. He holds the traditional title of Madakin Fika. He was also honoured with the traditional title of Shettima of Igbaja Land by Oba Ahmed Awuni Arepo the third. Tenure Grp.Capt.Ibrahim Alkali became the tenth governor of Kwara State on 19 December 1987 and made his mark in various spheres of the life of the region.His administration oversaw the construction of the Kwara State Library, which was commissioned in November 1989, and also launched the state chapter of The Nomadic Education Programme,which later spawned Nomadic Primary Schools. Ahmed Abdullahi (governor)
Brigadier General (retired) Ahmed Abdullahi was Military Administrator of Kwara State, Nigeria between December 1987 and July 1988 during the military regime under General Ibrahim Babangida. Birth and education Abdullahi was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone, on 22 August 1945. He attended primary schools in Zaria and Keffi and secondary schools in Freetown and Abuja. He was admitted to the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, graduating in 1968. Alwali Kazir
Alwali Jauji Kazir CFR (born 2 August 1947) is a retired Nigerian Army Major General who was Military Governor of Kwara State, Nigeria from December 1989 to January 1992 during the military regime of Major General Ibrahim Babangida. And then Chief of Army Staff from August 1994 to March 1996 during General Sani Abacha’s regime. Early life Kazir was born in Kazir Village, Jakusko L.G.A in present-day Yobe State. Kwara State
Kwara () is a state in Western Nigeria, bordered to the east by Kogi State, to the north by Niger State, and to the south by Ekiti, Osun, and Oyo states, while its western border makes up part of the international border with Benin. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (born 17 August 1941) is a Nigerian statesman and military dictator who ruled as military president of Nigeria from 1985 when he orchestrated a coup d'état against his military and political arch-rival Muhammadu Buhari, until his resignation in 1993 as a result of the crisis of the Third Republic. Barewa College
Barewa College is a college in Zaria, Kaduna State, northern Nigeria. Founded in 1921 by British Governor General Hugh Clifford, it was originally known as Katsina College. It switched its name to Kaduna College in 1938 and to Government College, Zaria in 1949 before settling on Barewa College. It is one of the largest boarding schools in Northern Nigeria and was the most-celebrated post-primary schools there up to the early 1960s. Kwara State Library is a public library in Kwara State, Nigeria. The library was established soon after the state was created in 1967 when it was found that the library in Kaduna was inadequate. The library was renovated in 2005, establishing the administrative, technical, and acquisition divisions. Its headquarters are in the state capital Ilorin, with divisional libraries in Jebba and Offa. Nomad

The Kwara State Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Ilorin, Kwara State, Kwara, Nigeria.
