''I Beat Loneliness'' is the tenth studio album by the British rock band Bush, released on 18 July 2025 through earMusic. The first single, titled "60 Ways to Forget People", came out on 17 April and was followed by "The Land of Milk and Honey", on 5 June. Described by ''Spill Magazine'' as one of Bush's most "vulnerable" albums to date, the lyrics on ''I Beat Loneliness'' tackle subjects such as mental health, loneliness, and depression. Bush are an English rock music, rock band formed in London in 1992. Their current lineup consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Gavin Rossdale, lead guitarist Chris Traynor, bassist Corey Britz, and drummer Nik Hughes. Sonic Youth
Sonic Youth were an American rock band formed in New York City in 1981. Chris Traynor (born June 22, 1973) is an American musician, songwriter, and producer, best known as the lead guitarist of the rock band Bush (British band), Bush, since 2001. He was previously active in the post-hardcore group Orange 9mm, and he had an on-and-off stint with Helmet (band), Helmet while working with Gavin Rossdale in Bush, Institute (band), Institute, as well as on Rossdale's solo album. He has also played with his partner Sibyl Buck in the band High Desert Fires. Traynor has performed live with the British rock band Blur (band), Blur and done studio work with Katy Perry, Peter Green (musician), Peter Green, Blue Man Group, and Rival Schools (band), Rival Schools.
