Kjerringøy is a village in Bodø Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The village is located about north of the Bodø (town), town of Bodø, along the Karlsøyfjorden, just south of the entrance to the Folda, Nordland, Folda fjord. The Kjerringøy Church is located in the village. The Kjerringøy trading post, a part of the Nordland Museum, is located in the village. Gørild Mauseth (born 24 April 1972) is a Norwegian actress. After graduating from the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre, she has worked at both Den Nationale Scene and Nationaltheatret (the National Theatre). Bjørn Sundquist
Bjørn Richard Sundquist (born 16 June 1948) is a Norwegian actor, famous for TV, theatre, and movie roles. For many years he worked at Det Norske Teatret and Nationaltheateret in Oslo. Sundquist is especially famous for the roles as Merlin and Hamlet. Eva Wenche Steenfeldt Stang (5 December 1917 – 28 March 2011), better known as Wenche Foss (), was a leading Norwegian actress of stage, screen and television. Personal life Wenche Foss was born to engineer Christian August Steenfeldt-Foss (1878–1960) and Alfhild Røren.
