ISAF World Sailing Games
ISAF Sailing Games were a sailing festival organised by the International Sailing Federation held every four years from 1994 to 2006. History Beginning in 1994, ISAF World Sailing Games were held on four occasions. The 1994 IYRU Cup saw more than 1000 sailors from 76 countries. The events were match racing, 470 (men and women), Hobie 16 (open and women), women's J/22, J/24, men's Laser, women's Laser Radial. In 1998, ISAF hosted the 1998 ISAF World Sailing Games in women's match racing, 470 (men and women), Hobie 16 (open and women), J/22 (open and women), men's Laser and women's Laser Radial. For the 2002 event, the selected classes were 470 (men and women), Hobie 16 (open and women), women's J/22, J/80, men's Laser, women's Laser Radial, Techno 293 (open and women). In the 2002 event, each country could have two sailors per event, with addition to the ISAF rankings leaders in Olympic classes, winners of the preceding 1998 games and winners of the 2000 Olympics. 2005 Finn Gold Cup

Match Racing
A match race is a race between two competitors, going head-to-head. In sailboat racing it is differentiated from a fleet race, which almost always involves three or more competitors competing against each other, and team racing where teams consisting of 2, 3 or 4 boats compete together in a team race, with their results being combined. In horse racing, it has historically been a format used for one-off events, but in 2009 IMRA, the International Match Race Association was created to enable anyone to enter a one-on-one horse race in all-terrain half-mile loops. Lake Neusiedl

La Rochelle
La Rochelle (, , ; Poitevin-Saintongeais: ''La Rochéle''; oc, La Rochèla ) is a city on the west coast of France and a seaport on the Bay of Biscay, a part of the Atlantic Ocean. 2006 ISAF World Sailing Games
The 2006 ISAF World Sailing Games was held at Lake Neusiedl, Austria 10–20 May. The events were 420 team racing, 470 (men and women), 49er, women's Hobie 16, Hobie Tiger, men's Laser, women's Laser Radial, and RS:X (men and women). In the 2006 event, sailors from similar classes were invited to participate, e.g. the medalists from 2005 Finn Gold Cup and the world champions in Byte, Contender, and OK were invited to the men's one-person dinghy event in Laser. OK (dinghy)
The OK Dinghy is an international class sailing dinghy, designed by Knud Olsen in 1956. History In 1956 Axel Damgaard Olsen of Vordingborg, asked the Danish yacht designer Knud Olsen to prepare drawings for a light and fast single-handed sailing dinghy based on conventional plywood construction. The resulting design was named the "OK", using Knud Olsen's initials in reverse. The OK was intended as a preparation class for the Olympic Finn and it has followed its technical evolution ever since. The rig is identical to a Finn comprising a single sail set on a rotating, un-stayed, bending mast. OKs are built in plywood, G.R.P and composite construction; all forms enjoy equal racing success. Freedom of choice in hull materials is replicated in choice of rig. The choice of mast, sail and fittings must fit within the class rules but enables all sailors to have a combination suited to their own requirements.
