2002 ISAF World Sailing Games
The 2002 ISAF World Sailing Games was held in Marseille, France, 29 July – 10 July. The selected classes were 470 (men and women), Hobie 16 (open and women), women's J/22, J/80, men's Laser, women's Laser Radial, Techno 293 (open and women). Each country were allowed to entry two sailors per event, with addition to the ISAF rankings leaders in Olympic classes, winners of the preceding 1998 games and winners of the 2000 Olympics. Marseille

Tom King (sailor)
Thomas Jack King (born 8 February 1973) is an Australian sailor and Olympic champion. He won a gold medal in the 470 Class with Mark Turnbull at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. He and Turnbull were inducted into the Australian Sailing Hall of Fame in 2022. Jennifer Margaret Armstrong (born 3 March 1970) is an Olympic sailor from New Zealand. After competing for her native country at the 1992 Olympics, she moved to Australia in 1996 and won a historic sailing gold for her adopted country at the 2000 Olympics. Early life Armstrong was born in 1970 in Dunedin, New Zealand, to John and Robyn Armstrong. Armstrong attended Otago Girls' High School there. Shirley Robertson
Shirley Ann Robertson, OBE DL (born 15 July 1968) is a British sailor and Olympic gold medallist. She made it into the history books by becoming the first British woman to win an Olympic gold medal at consecutive games, Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004. Roman Hagara
Roman Hagara (born 30 April 1966) is an Austrian sailor who has won the gold medal in the Tornado class at two consecutive Olympic Games. Hagara, and his colleague Hans-Peter Steinacher won the gold medal in the Tornado class at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, and successfully defended their title at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, which, to date, makes them Austria's the most successful summer sport athletes as the first professional Austrian sailing team. Hagara was the Flagbearer for the Austrian team at the 2004 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony.
