Hurt You So Bad
''Darkhorse'' is the second studio album by American rap rock band Crazy Town. It was released through Columbia Records/Sony Music on November 12, 2002. The album had two singles, "Drowning", which was a minor hit in several countries, and "Hurt You So Bad", which did not chart. ''Darkhorse'' peaked at No. 120 on the US ''Billboard'' 200, and No. 164 in the UK, achieving considerably less success than their debut album ''The Gift of Game''. The band was subsequently dropped by Sony/Columbia in 2003, and went on hiatus. Production The band initially wanted to record the album in 2001, but were undecided on which producer to choose, wanting to work with either Rick Rubin or Don Gilmore. By the time they settled on Howard Benson, it was already into 2002. The album was recorded and mixed from April to August 2002, with additional work on b-sides and remixes lasting into September 2002. Crazy Town
Crazy Town (sometimes abbreviated as CXT) was an American rap rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1995 by Bret "Epic" Mazur and Shifty Shellshock (Seth Brooks Binzer). Their 2000 single "Butterfly", reached number one on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart and helped their debut album, '' The Gift of Game'' (1999), sell over 1.6 million units. Their follow-up album, '' Darkhorse'' (2002), failed to achieve the same level of success, contributing to the band's breakup in 2003. Mazur and Binzer reformed the band in 2007 and released their third album, '' The Brimstone Sluggers'', in 2015. In 2017, Mazur left the band and Binzer changed its name to Crazy Town X. In March 2024, the band released the EP ''Flirting with Disaster''. Binzer died in June 2024, leaving the future of the band unclear. Jay Gordon (born January 30, 1967) is an American singer. He is best known as the lead singer and original member of the rock band Orgy, which he founded in 1997. Career 1997–2000 Orgy's first release, 1998's '' Candyass'', would prove to be a huge success and earned a platinum certification in sales, which was primarily fueled by the popularity of their cover of New Order's " Blue Monday", as well as that of their first single, " Stitches". Santoor
The Indian santoor instrument is a trapezoid-shaped hammered dulcimer, and a variation of the Iranian santur. The instrument is generally made of walnut wood and has 25 bridges. Each bridge has 4 strings, making for a total of 100 strings. It is a traditional instrument in Jammu and Kashmir, and dates back to ancient times. "Starry Eyed Surprise" is a song by English record producer Oakenfold featuring vocals from Shifty Shellshock of Crazy Town. The song was released on 19 August 2002 as the second single from Oakenfold's debut album, '' Bunkka'' (2002), reaching number six in the United Kingdom, number 19 in the Netherlands and New Zealand, number 21 in Ireland, and number 37 in Australia. It also reached the top 50 in Italy and the United States. It was later included on Shifty Shellshock's 2004 album ''Happy Love Sick'' and Oakenfold's 2007 album '' Greatest Hits & Remixes''.
