''Huntington'' is an upcoming black comedy thriller film written and directed by John Patton Ford. The script was loosely inspired by the 1949 British film ''Kind Hearts and Coronets'' by Robert Hamer and John Dighton. Glen Powell stars in the film, along with Margaret Qualley and Ed Harris. John Patton Ford (December 30, 1981) is an American film director and screenwriter. He wrote and directed the film '' Emily the Criminal'' (2022), as well as the upcoming '' Huntington''. Life Ford was born in Sumter, South Carolina. He attended the University of South Carolina, and has a Master of Fine Arts from the American Film Institute. Career Before becoming a filmmaker, Ford directed commercials for many brands, including Audi, Pepsi, Tide and Toyota. He also directed the music video for the song ''Enemies'' by Hannah Georgas. He wrote scripts for Disney, Universal, and Sony. His first feature film was 2022's '' Emily the Criminal'', starring Aubrey Plaza.
