Gorillaz
Gorillaz are an English virtual band created by musician Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett in London, England in 1998. "Garage Palace" is a song by English virtual band Gorillaz featuring British rapper Little Simz, who had been touring with the band and played at the first Demon Dayz Festival with the band where they performed the track and "Clint Eastwood". It was released on 31 October 2017 as a single from the Super Deluxe edition of the band's fifth studio album ''Humanz'' alongside a music video. "19-2000", sometimes written "19/2000" and also known as "Get the Cool Shoeshine", is a song from British virtual band Gorillaz' self-titled debut album ''Gorillaz''. It was the second single from the album, released on 25 June 2001 in the United Kingdom. "19-2000" reached number six on the UK Singles Chart and number 34 on the US ''Billboard'' Mainstream Top 40 chart. It was particularly successful in New Zealand, where it reached number one for a week in September 2001. Lakisha Kimberly Robinson (born May 10, 1990), known professionally as Kilo Kish, is an American singer-songwriter and visual artist. Early life Kilo Kish was born in Orlando, Florida, on May 10, 1990. She attended Glen Rock Elementary School in Bergen County, New Jersey, but later returned to Orlando, where she graduated from Winter Park High School. Aged 18, she received a scholarship to attend the private art college Pratt Institute in New York. "Stylo" is the first single from British virtual band Gorillaz's third studio album ''Plastic Beach''. The song features guest vocals from Bobby Womack and Mos Def. The single was released on 26 January 2010. Production Bobby Womack knew nothing about Gorillaz and was initially unsure about the collaboration; however, his daughter liked Gorillaz and convinced him to do it. Womack was told to sing whatever was on his mind during the recording of "Stylo". "I was in there for an hour going crazy about love and politics, getting it off my chest", said Womack. After an hour of recording, Womack, a diabetic, started to pass out. He was sat down and given a banana, before waking up minutes later. "Strobelite" is a single by British virtual band Gorillaz, released on their fifth studio album ''Humanz''. It features guest vocals by Peven Everett. The single was released on 4 August 2017, with an accompanying music video released three days later. Music video The music video to "Strobelite" was released on 7 August 2017. It was created by Passion Pictures.
