''Hikayeler Anlatıldı'' is the first album by the Turkish rock group Gripin, released in 2004 by GRGDN. It was later re-released as ''Hikayeler Anlatıldı 2'' by Sony Music Sony Music Entertainment (SME), commonly known as Sony Music, is an American multinational music company owned by Japanese conglomerate Sony Group Corporation. Gripin is a Turkish rock band based in Istanbul. The members are Birol Namoğlu (vocals), Murat Başdoğan (guitar), Arda İnceoğlu (bass guitar), and İlker Baliç (drums). The band's name is derived from a flu medicine brand in Turkey. The beginning They started as a cover band, playing in bars like ''Bronx'' in mid-'90s, and earned a cult following. Their wide repertoire not only included Britpop, but also featured examples of American alternative rock and in some cases, Turkish rock. The band started off together in 1999 playing mostly cover tracks in Turkish bars and clubs. Soon, they managed to establish themselves as a name behind the music they covered. GRGDN
GRGDN is a Turkish music production and artist management company and record label based in Istanbul. The name of the company originates from the Turkish word ''gergedan'' which means rhinoceros. It was founded in 2003 by OIART-graduated producer Haluk Kurosman and Hadi Elazzi, who had formerly worked for such companies like Sire Records (Warner Music) or Sony Music Turkey. The company has its own recording studio in Ulus, Istanbul and does the management of several renowned Turkish artists. In 2011 Haluk Kurosman parted ways with GRGDN to become a freelance producer. Record label GRGDN released the first album of Turkish rock band Gripin as an independent record label. Together with Sony BMG they released several other albums. Haluk Kurosman
Haluk Kurosman (born 1 March 1975, Istanbul) is a Turkish music producer and co-founder (together with Hadi Elazzi) of GRGDN, a music production – management company and record label; producing, mixing and mastering the albums of successful young Turkish artists. Kurosman started to play the guitar at the age of 15 and had his own band, where he was also the frontman. By the age of 23 he decided to move "backstage" and work as a producer. He is a graduate of Deutsche Schule Istanbul and Marmara University in business administration. Later he went to Canada, where he attended Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology (OIART) and graduated in 1999 as "perhaps the most brilliant student to attend OIART since its inception".
