Help Wanted (Eric Avery Album)
''Help Wanted'' is the debut solo album release from Jane's Addiction bassist, Eric Avery, released on April 8, 2008, just ahead of his first return to the band. A number of notable guest musicians perform on the record, including Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins, Garbage's Shirley Manson, and Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist and trumpeter Flea and trumpeter Willie Waldman. Harold Barefoot Sanders III, who collaborated with Eric in his band Polar Bear, also contributes on a few tracks. Lastly, Chris Chaney, longtime replacement bassist of Jane's Addiction, plays on a song along with his bandmate of The Coattail Riders. A music video was created for the song "All Remote And No Control" which can be viewed at IG Fishpork ranked it #5 of the year for 2008. Eric Avery
Eric Adam Avery (born April 25, 1965) is an American musician. He is best known as the founding bass guitarist and co-songwriter of the alternative rock band Jane's Addiction, with whom he has recorded two studio albums. From 2005 to 2022, Avery was the bassist for Garbage, which he joined as sideman and with whom he recorded three studio albums. A core member of Jane's Addiction during its initial lifespan, Avery co-founded the band in 1985 with frontman Perry Farrell, and recorded two studio albums, '' Nothing's Shocking'' (1988) and '' Ritual de lo Habitual'' (1990), before the band's acrimonious break-up in 1991. Shirley Manson
Shirley Ann Manson FRSA (born 26 August 1966) is a Scottish singer, songwriter, and musician who is the lead singer of the rock band Garbage. Known for her distinctive deep voice, forthright style, and rebellious attitude, her accolades include nominations for two Brit Awards and seven Grammy Awards. Zac Rae
Zac Rae is an American musician, best known as the keyboardist, pianist, and multi-instrumentalist of the indie rock band Death Cab for Cutie, with whom he has recorded two studio albums and two EPs. Rae is a former member of Alanis Morissette's backing band, which he joined in 2001 at the age of 21. Taylor Hawkins And The Coattail Riders
Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders was an American rock band founded by Taylor Hawkins, drummer for Foo Fighters. Hawkins was the drummer and vocalist for the trio. Other band members have included Chris Chaney on bass, Gannin Arnold on guitar and backing vocals, and Nate Wood on guitar and backing vocals. Chaney and Hawkins had previously played in Alanis Morissette's tour band, Sexual Chocolate. The Coattail Riders disbanded when Hawkins died on March 25, 2022. Christopher A. Chaney (born June 14, 1970) is an American musician. He is best known as the former bassist of the alternative rock band Jane's Addiction, with whom he recorded two studio albums. He is the touring bassist for AC/DC, replacing longstanding member Cliff Williams on the band's Power Up Tour. Willie Waldman
Banyan is an art rock/alternative rock band with heavy jazz and funk influence based in Los Angeles, California. History The leader and co-founder is Stephen Perkins, who first played drums for Jane's Addiction (1986–1991, plus later regroupings), and then for Porno for Pyros. He co-founded the group with Emit Bloch. The core members of the band are Nels Cline on guitar, Willie Waldman on trumpet and Mike Watt (Minutemen) on bass. Watt also sings on some Banyan songs.
