Heidi Gansert
Heidi K. Seevers Gansert (born 1963) is an American politician, businessperson, and engineer from the U.S. state, state of Nevada who served in the Nevada Senate, representing the Nevada's 15th Senate district, 15th district from 2016 to 2024. She served in the Nevada Assembly from 2004 through 2010, including as Republican leader, and as chief of staff to Governor of Nevada, Governor Brian Sandoval from 2011 through 2012. Nevada Senate
The Nevada Senate is the upper house of the Nevada Legislature, the state legislature of U.S. state of Nevada, the lower house being the Nevada Assembly. It currently (2012–2021) consists of 21 members from single-member districts. In the previous redistricting (2002–2011) there were 19 districts, two of which were multimember. Since 2012, there have been 21 districts, each formed by combining two neighboring state assembly districts. Each state senator represented approximately 128,598 as of the 2010 United States census. 2016 Nevada State Senate Election
The 2016 Nevada Senate election took place as part of the biennial United States elections. Nevada voters elected state senators in 11 of the state senate's 21 districts. The 2010 Nevada gubernatorial election was held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, to elect the governor of Nevada, who would serve a four-year term to begin on January 3, 2011. Washoe County () is a county in the U.S. state of Nevada. As of the 2020 census, the population was 486,492, making it Nevada's second-most populous county. Its county seat is Reno. Washoe County is included in the Reno, NV Metropolitan Statistical Area. History Washoe County was created on November 25, 1861, as one of the original nine counties of the Nevada Territory.
