Hayden Senger
Hayden Craig Senger (born April 3, 1997) is an American professional baseball catcher for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2025. Amateur career Senger graduated from Lakota East High School in Liberty Township, Ohio, in 2015. In his high school baseball career, Senger played 110 games, recorded 108 hits, 75 RBI, four home runs, and a .352 batting average. He attended Miami University and played college baseball for the Miami RedHawks from 2016 to 2018. During the 2018 season Senger hit for a .344 batting average and made only one error, leading to First-Team All-MAC and All-Defensive Team selections. Catcher
Catcher is a position in baseball and softball. When a batter takes their turn to hit, the catcher crouches behind home plate, in front of the (home) umpire, and receives the ball from the pitcher. In addition to this primary duty, the catcher is also called upon to master many other skills in order to field the position well. The role of the catcher is similar to that of the wicket-keeper in cricket. Positioned behind home plate and facing toward the outfield, the catcher can see the whole field, and is therefore in the best position to direct and lead the other players in a defensive play. Kingsport Mets
The Kingsport Mets were a Minor League Baseball team of the Appalachian League from 1921 to 2020. They were located in Kingsport, Tennessee, and were last named for the team's major league affiliate, the New York Mets. The team played its home games at Hunter Wright Stadium which opened in 1995. Jeff McNeil
Jeffrey Todd McNeil (born April 8, 1992), nicknamed "Squirrel" or "Flying Squirrel," is an American professional baseball utility player for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2018. In 2022, McNeil started the All-Star Game at second base, won the MLB Batting Title and the Silver Slugger Award.
